Mission Gets 226 Sunny Days.
Your AEP Bill Shouldn't Reflect That.

Mission homeowners on the Bryan Road corridor and throughout La Homa and Sharyland are seeing AEP Texas bills climb every summer — often reaching $280–$420 during peak months. With over 226 sunny days per year and some of the strongest solar irradiance in Texas, Mission is one of the best cities in the state to go solar. Families throughout West Mission and North Mission are using solar to lock in their energy rate for 25 years and stop absorbing the impact of rising utility costs.

AEP Texas customers in Mission have seen electricity rates climb steadily over the past several years. By installing a solar panel system, you lock in your energy cost for 25+ years, protecting your household from future rate increases. Most Mission homeowners who go solar reduce their monthly electric bill by 60–80%, with many eliminating it entirely.

Texas grid reliability has become a serious concern. When the grid fails during extreme heat or winter storms, a home battery system keeps your air conditioning, refrigerator, and critical appliances running — even when your neighbors are in the dark. Solergy installs both solar and battery storage together as a complete home energy solution, giving Mission families true energy independence.

Solergy is a locally owned, BBB A+ rated solar company based in McAllen, TX. Our team has served the Rio Grande Valley for over a decade — we know the local permitting process, the utility interconnection requirements, and the specific solar conditions in Mission. When you work with Solergy, you're working with neighbors, not a national call center.
