Solar Panels
in Donna

Donna is a growing community in Hidalgo County located along US Highway 83 — the main artery of the Rio Grande Valley — with a strong agricultural heritage and a predominantly residential character. Donna homeowners benefit from the same exceptional solar conditions as the rest of the Valley, with over 224 sunny days per year and flat, open terrain that minimizes shading on rooftops. AEP Texas serves the Donna area, and with solar financing available for $0 down, the math is straightforward: most Donna families reduce their monthly electricity bill by 60–80% from the very first month.

AEP Texas customers in Donna have seen electricity rates climb steadily over the past several years. By installing a solar panel system, you lock in your energy cost for 25+ years, protecting your household from future rate increases. Most Donna homeowners who go solar reduce their monthly electric bill by 60–80%, with many eliminating it entirely.

Texas grid reliability has become a serious concern. When the grid fails during extreme heat or winter storms, a home battery system keeps your air conditioning, refrigerator, and critical appliances running — even when your neighbors are in the dark. Solergy installs both solar and battery storage together as a complete home energy solution, giving Donna families true energy independence.

When you work with Solergy, you're working with neighbors, not a national call center.
